Anglesey Bikes

Anglesey’s premier dedicated bike shop

Established 2017

Coronavirus Update:

We take staff and customers safety seriously. Although Media attention has subsided together with the intensity of the virus itself, Covid 19 is still very much around us. If you are asymptomatic or have concerns over potential exposure to the virus please let us know and we will be more than happy to wear masks during your visit to us.

We retain the facility to apply hand hygiene-gel in the shop, if required too.

Fully equipped workshop

We operate a busy and fully equipped bicycle repair and servicing workshop. We are qualified to work on all aspects of bicycle build, repair and servicing.

Parts and accessories from major brands always in stock

Years in the business and growing the business month upon month by listening to our customers needs, mean that we have 24hr access to most major cycling parts and accessories brands.

We may not be able to always beat the Internet shops, but we offer a swift and friendly service where you can discuss your needs directly with one of the most highly qualified mechanics in the area.
Where we can, we offer the fitting and setting up of your shiny parts ASAP, often while you wait.

We have bean-to-cup coffee too 😎

Local guide maps and books

We always make sure to stock local Ordnance Survey maps as well as selected local Sustrans cycle maps too. Or just pop in and we are more than happy to advise of available local routes on our overview map too.

Cytech Master Technician Badge

Currently; the highest qualified "Cytech" cycle mechanic in Gwynedd / Isle of Anglesey, together with over 20years experience.

Cytech is the internationally recognised training and accreditation scheme for bicycle technicians. Cytech Level 3 represents the pinnacle of technical proficiency. This level can be attained only by experienced cycle technicians with a full understanding of the advanced engineering behind high-end, performance cycles. Technical three is taught on a modular basis, and technicians who are qualified to this level are able to install and calibrate top-level electronic groupsets, service complex suspension systems and hydraulic brakes as well as building high-performance, lightweight and robust wheelsets which are specific to purpose.

The Park Tool School

We frequently undertake bicycle maintenance training courses to both the individual and to several local organisations.

Please get in touch with your requirements so that we may tailor a course to your specific needs and timescale.

We are happy to operate these courses both during the day and early evening, to suit the modern lifestyle.

Bike Assembly Service

In todays world of internet shopping and the considerable savings that can be had on some bikes, we are conscious that more often than not, these bikes are being shipped needing a degree of skilled assembly from a qualified bike mechanic in order to optimise your new steed.

We offer to assemble your shiny brand-new toy ourselves if needed and can also arrange (with prior agreement) for the bike to be shipped directly to our premises, so that you can pick it up from us fully assembled and ready to go. No packaging for you to dispose of and no frustrating hours in the kitchen assembling into the small hours!
